You get what you pay for - only a word to the wise

Got to the dealership at 7:50 and then was told that my policy doesn’t have my vehicle attached to it. Phoned the call centre and was told that the document will be amended. Phoned a couple of times after that to find out if it’s been amended and I can get authorisation and only at 12:50 my policy got amended and the dealership got authorisation. Now I have to wait and additional 3 hours, still sitting at the dealership, for the major service to get done.

So, what’s the main points that got me this angry today to end a policy and warn everyone else: When I app**** last year, I had to give the registration number and vin number and send a picture of the disk to confirm that it wasn’t a Toyota Quest. When I phoned in, the amendment was being processed from 9.30 onwards. I phoned in a few times after that and only at 12.50 was the amendment made. Now I have to wait an extra 3 hours for my car. This mess wasn’t my fault. Secondly, If it was an online amendment then they can take their time and lastly, I had to phone in a few times to get the ball rolling.

At the end of the day, LC customer consideration was putrid and it’s actions was *********. And the burning issue was that this was their mess up, but still they were unfazed by all this.

So this review is just to warn others to be prepared for things like this. No one is saying not to go with them. But you will be better off somewhere else. Saying Sorry is not a plaster, nor is it a cure all. I lost a whole day because of LiquidCapital, and nothing will get my time back. And this day isn’t over yet.
