********* Business Practices to the detriment of the customer
Liquid Capital called me to sell me a Service Plan. During the telephonic conversation with the lady selling me the service plan, I asked her if my car has a cam belt and what the estimated cost would be to replace the cam belt on my car. She told me that my car has a Cam Belt and gave me an estimation of the cost to replace the Cam Belt on my car. She also told me that if I would like to later cancel the Service Plan with them, I can do so and they will refund me back the difference from what was paid on my services vs what I paid them in premiums. Last year I found out that my car actually does not have a cam belt, I contacted Liquid Capital about this problem and almost a year later, they are still giving me the run around. Then I said okay, just cancel my policy and give me back the difference between what was paid for my services and what I paid them in premiums. Guess what, that is something that can also now not be done.
So everything that was sold to me cannot be delivered on, and I cannot get my money back. This is what you call day light *******.
I asked them for the recording of the call, they escalated my request to 'Compliance' (which I am still waiting to here from months later). The recording was replayed for all of us to here, and when the representative heard what was said in the call, she said she would escalate it and get back to me.
I am sure you can guess what happened....nothing...I am still waiting.
