Stay Away

Stay away from Liquid Capital! I have been informed that none of your managers are available. (Team Leader informed me), I am furious as I have not received any documents or any form of communications stating the 4 payments waiting period. Now my car must be serviced and liquid capital refuses to pay for it even after receiving 3 payments. Now I must cancel my holiday plans as I cannot service my car until January 2018. I have been informed that it was mentioned via phone by the consultant, must have been a break in reception as I would never have agreed to such an act of piracy. Let’s make this simple: Let’s say I pay R500 a month for 4 services at 105 000km, 120 000km, 135 000km & 150 000km. Now I’m due for the 105 000km service which I have to pay R5 000 on due to the 4-payment waiting period. Come January when period expired will I get refunded or will my payments become less? Seeing as my payment of R500 is derived from a total cost of the 4 services. So in essence lets say the total costs amount to R15 000 for all 4 services. This means that I paid for R5 000 of this policy myself and thus only have to make payments equivalent to R10 000. Now for some reason liquid capital does not understand this. They already informed me that if my total payments equalled R7000 and my costs of services totalled at R8 000, and I happen to cancel then I have to pay in the difference. NOW THIS I UNDERSTAND, it protects the company. BUT HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM ME HAVING TO SERVICE MY CAR WITHIN 3 PAYMENTS, YET YOU REFUSE. If I service my car and cancel, I must pay cancellation fee as well as the difference in anyway. So how does this 4-payment period clause have any relevance except if you are trying to cheat your customers? YOU ARE NOT A MEDICAL AID! Now all of a sudden, your managers are on a course (ALL OF THEM) and no one can point me to someone that can make the decisions. You could’ve met me half way pay saying you’d refund me in January for the costs that were to be covered by the policy. PS: I’m still waiting for the recording of our conversation. Now while I’m waiting I cannot drive for work or I void my warranty.
