Shortfall insurance cover for motor vehicle

<p>I recently paid up my motor vehicle which had been financed by Liquid Vehicle Finance. I queried the consultant how to stop the shortfall insurance payment of R212,46 per month. I was told not to worry, it would automatically stop once it had been processed that the vehicle was paid up. I was told by 20 March 2017 there would be no further deductions from my bank account.</p> <p>This morning I noticed that the shortfall insurance payment has subsequently been deducted twice. I am still paying shortfall insurance on a vehicle which is fully paid up and has already been transferred into my name. </p> <p>I contacted Liquid Vehicle Finance and informed them that money was still being deducted from my account, only to be informed by the consultant that I did not have and never did have any shortfall insurance on my vehicle! ????? But I have documentation and a bank statement which prove that I definitely DID have shortfall insurance! For six years, R212,46 was deducted from my account! I asked why the previous consultant had told me the shortfall insurance would stop automatically, if I never had a shortfall insurance in the first place. He kept on insisting that I had no shortfall insurance with them as nothing is reflected on their system.<br /><br />Fine! Pull out Adcover/Regent document! Google! Where does it take me to? Liquid Capital! The same people who say that I never HAD shortfall insurance! <br />I phone the number on the website! Give my ID no! My name comes up. How can we help you? I explain that I am still paying shortfall cover on my paid up vehicle. Can they please rectify? Apparently she can't. She will have to get her supervisor to contact me - 'sometime today'. I asked for an approximate time. She informs me there is an 8 hour turnaround period. I enquire whether I am expected to sit around for eight hours waiting for a phone call? Apparently that is the case. So, I duly sit around all day and wait for a phone call which needless to say, never comes! Thank you for wasting my day!</p> <p><br />Shocking service Liquid Capital! And what exactly do you propose to do about it? How long am I expected to keep on paying this? How many more times am I expected sit around all day waiting for a call that never comes???<br />Liquid Capital! You had better sort this one out! Fast! I am beyond furious. If you think I am going to continue to pay this amount every month - THINK AGAIN! I WILL take this further!</p>
