Refuse to pay for brakes under maintenance contract.

Have a maintenance contract through liquid capital. My car went in for the final service before the maintenance contract ends I was told the front brake pads and disks need to be replaced. Liquid capital refused the claim. What is the point of paying additional for a maintenance contract if they refuse to pay.
