Poor customer service and support in accessing documentation
Terrible lead time for enquiries, with the query log and wait (and hope) for response. The response then usually has is an overall lack of customer service - purely sales focus. I have requested policy wording for existing plans on vehicle twice telephonically with no avail - just told the relevant department will get in contact with me. Extended motor plan on vehicle and received no policy documentation prior to being debited three weeks later. Requested log in details for self portal - no assistance besides the long tail of the relevant department will get in touch with you.
I had a reasonable interaction with Dilon who actually accommodated my availability after he had eventually got in touch and then was helpful enough to wait on the line while I weighed the benefits of the plan.
We are sorry to hear that you have not had a great experience with us.
We have escalated your concerns to the relevant department to investigate.
We will be in contact with you shortly.

After escalating to Dilon via mail, I have received policy fulfilment documentation.
I can also log in to the self-service portal, which I assume is linked to the policy fulfilment. I guess hello peter doing the customer service interface it saves some backend development... Regardless, I now have access to my policies and can only now check that the extension policy is overlapping with original policy by 20 000 kms which is exactly what I wanted to avoid before being charged and having a claim put onto the wrong policy. I have a service next week this could really escalate into difficulty if this is not resolved before then.
Will log another customer service query fingers crossed i get this quick response and resolution.
