Poor Customer Care & Communication
At the heart of customer care, is communication. They failed to notify me that my motor plan expired in March and I only found out at my 105,000 km service on October. This left me facing a huge bill (as it’s a big service) out of my own pocket . They only care about selling you their policies and not retaining and keeping you cared for as a customer.
Instead of taking accountability for their oversight, they told me it’s not their fault “they’re not in the business of informing customers about policies ending”. Their lack of communication is costly and completely unacceptable. Never again.

20 Oct 2025, 14:07No evidence of the said phone call. If you can prove it then please send the records via my email. No other channel such as email and WhatsApp were used to communicate this.
The reason I opted to cancel what you label as an “extension” is because of your lack of accountability.

31 Oct 2025, 01:44Unfortunately, I won’t take down this review. The recording they sent me is an engagement between me and their consultant who was selling the policy at the time. From minute 18, she explicitly asks for my consent to contact me when my policy is nearing its end so I can renew. I clearly said “yes.”
For context, at no point was I contesting the renewal process. My concern is the lack of communication despite the consultant’s own assurance that I would be notified. These guys have teams that handle renewals but still!!
Even if the plan is “not a fixed-term renewable contract,” the moment Liquid Capital requested my consent to contact me about renewal, and I granted it, they created a reasonable expectation of follow-up. This constitutes legitimate reliance, which is recognised under South African consumer law.
CPA, No. 68 of 2008, my rights as a consumer are clearly protected. Specifically:
My position is therefore legally grounded and I will not take down this review
