Policy cancelled before time

Called them for bumper to bumper scratches. Told the policy expires 19th March. Which was incorrect info. Finance contract started on 19th March 2018. When policy started. Contract was 2 years. Logged call to claim for scratches on the 19th march 2020. Told policy has expired. I requested the recording of call. They said it takes 7days to get...nothing todate.
