Pathetic Service from the company
I took a service plan with the company in September 2023 for 90 000km, 105 000 km and 120 000km. The 4th Debit order is going off on 26 January 2023.
My problem with the company is thaty car has already reached 90 500km and the company refuses to allowe to pay upfront for the 4th debit order that is pending for me to take my car to service.
The consultant (Lesego) at the call center advised that the company can be lenient with an additional 2000km however I travel about 100km a day to and from work which will make it impossible to be within the range of 92000km by 26 January. She then pathetically advised that I start traveling less so I don't miss it I use this car everyday and that advise is totally pathetic
I then spoke to the supervisor (Suzanne) and who also advised the same as Lesego but made matters worse by saying I will forfeit the 90 000 kms service plan and only qualify for the other two service plans of which I'm not in agreement with as I have laid upfront for service before.
Now the company has the nerve to say its no longer allowed and I must forfeit the plan for those kms yet pay the same amount monthly? That is madness.
I am willing to pay upfront for the debit order on the 26th January to have my car serviced as the policy documents I received suggest that I can service after "4 successful consecutive fee payments " and not 4 successful monthly payments.
I stand by the wording which allows me to actually pay pay the 4th payment successfully today to get the car serviced in time.
Under upfront payments it does not include any information about service not being allowed if I have money upfront to pay
I am truly unsatisfied with the level of service from this company. I have been with Liquid Capital for about 3 years and I have been granted payment in advance for service to occur when the car has reached the service mileage.
Truly Disappointed in this company and seeking to cancel this policy.
There was no resolve to my query as I had requested that they change the debit order date to the 15th of every month so that the 4th instalment can run while my vehicle is still within the kms required for service. The lady I spoke to at the collections department advised that the date was indeed changed to the 15th and the debit order will go off on 15 January 2024 and not 25 January 2024.
I called in yesterday 15 January 2024 to confirm if the debit will run later in the day and the consultant confirmed that indeed it will run that day.
Waking up today 16 January 2024, I realise that the debit order was not deducted from my account and I called in once again to understand why it wasn't taken. To my surprise they now say that it takes a whole 30 days for confirmation of deduction to be active so now the debit order will run on 25 January 2024. My car is now above 92 000 kms and I was hoping that I will service the car this week as the 4th instalment would have been deducted already and ready for service. After being told to drive less In December I can say that the back end support of this company is pathetic. There is no way my car will be within the 2 500 kms range after 90 000 kms that they offer on 25 January as I travel about 100 kms to work every day.
I have canceled this policy as it is a huge inconvenience to me and they are also charging me cancellation fees on top of that.
Truly disappointing now I have to break the bank for this major service thinking I was covered
