Misleading policy

Service booster policy I took out this policy in good faith expecting a service over a period of 5 years or 60000km. Great was my surprise to find out my interpretation of 5 years/60000km differ from their interpretation. The way I understood this were as follows:

1) The policy lapses after 5 years – regardless of claims submitted or not 2) The policy lapses after 60 000km – regardless of claims submitted or not (I saw the 60000km as kilometers on the speedometer)

This is the way it is explained in the policy. At least the way I interpreted this.

There is no mention of the fact that should a person not drive the full 15000km per service interval, and the vehicle is sent for an annual service, the policy will lapse as soon as the fourth service is done (Their interpretation is that the 4th service is equal to the 60 000km service – therefore the policy lapses)

My case

My vehicle is less than 5 years old – policy is valid My kilometers on the car is 60000km – policy not valid because it goes for a 75 000km service – although within the 5th year

Note: The vehicle speedometer reads 60****m – It goes for an annual service (this is allowed as per manufacturer specs - up to ****m over) because we do not drive that much

My question is this:

Why would they sell me a product, valid for a period of 5 years, if I can never submit a claim in the 5th year? – my vehicle go for a 15000km service or annual service – whichever comes first – it go for a 60000km in the fourth year regardless of how many kilometers were actually driven. So – after 4 years this policy is no longer valid – according to their interpretation.

My logic tell me that either they were purposefully misleading me and kept a back door open to reject claims or that they are misinterpreting your own rules.
