Hyundai Bryanston and Liquid Capital - TERRIBLE
I have experienced some of the worst service of my life from LiquidCapital and Hyundai Bryanston - both subsidiaries of MOTUS HOLDINGS LIMITED.
I took my car for a service at Hyundai Bryanston on the 12th of June, confident that I had purchased my new service plan from Liquid Capital last year. When they looked on the system, they could see no policy. I came home and hit the phones, only to be told that the policy was connected to an i20 - I've never owned an i20 and definitely don't own this one. When I asked them to please transfer my policy to my car, they said they first had to investigate.
By the time it was time to collect my car, no progress had been mad,e and I had to pay R6,500 of my own money to get my car back.
As you can imagine, I was not particularly happy, so imagine my despair when I looked at my passenger door and noticed damage. Almost everyone is swearing blind that it was there when I brought it in, except, like when you rent a car, when you book your car in for a service, you fill in a sheet that details any scratches and nicks on the car, and low and behold - this damage is not on that sheet. Also, I chatted with the guy booking my car in, so he remembered me and confirmed it wasn't there. They promised to call me in the morning when they looked at the camera footage in the workshop.
At 9 the following morning, I called, but the Service Manager was unavailable. I called every hour until 3 to be met with promises that he'd call me back, but nothing. On the Saturday, I went in, but no one at a managerial level was there, the Service Manager was uncontactable, and the Dealer Principal could do nothing. It was a long weekend and I was promised that I would receive a call on Tuesday - nothing. I called and got hold of the Service Manager, who told me he was going to call me back at midday, after his meeting with the Dealer Principal - no call.
On Wednesday, I finally got hold of the Dealer Principal, who assured me she would sort things out - both the damage and refunding me and submitting the claim against the Service plan. On Wednesday afternoon at 16:00 the Service Manager asks me to send a photo of the damage as all their photos weren't clear.
Thursday morning, I again have to follow up, at 13:00 the Service manager says they will send the car to their panel beaters for the door to be sprayed. I ask if I can please have a courtesy car as I will be without mine for 3-4 days and get told abruptly, "no mam, we don't do courtesy cars".
I took it in yesterday for them to fix their damage and at the same time follow up on my refund. Nothing had been done, I then had to fill in a form and give my ID and proof of bank account.
Today, the Service Manager sends me a Voicenote to say my Service plan is 'not open' and that I have to phone to sort it! I phone Liquid Capital to be told my plan is about to be closed off - maybe a system error!
