Human life or car service

Liquid capital do not want to pay for my wife's car service. The car was due for service end of June, but due to my wife's health car service was the last thing on our minds. We explained that to Liquid Capital but they still denied paying. Our car is still under service plan and we always took our car for service on time. Now my question is does the health of my wife less important that the car service, were we supposed to drag her out of sick bed to take car for service? I expected at least a small penalty not them giving a pure NO answer. That was a very bad experience I got, maybe we are not supposed to get sick so that we can be able to always be on time for service.
