11 May 2026, 14:50I had to follow up again telephonically on Friday, 08 May. I was then informed that this query was only transferred to the creditors department on 28 April, more than two months after it was first logged.
This query has been outstanding since 13 February. There is absolutely no justification for a matter to take over three months with no resolution. This is blatant incompetence and a complete lack of urgency.
The following individuals have been involved in this matter:
- Thembekile Setiabi
- Phale Malete
- Jerome Martin
- Mpho Mokgatlhe
- Faranaaz Mahomed
Despite repeated follow-ups, nothing has been resolved. Promises are made, deadlines are missed, and accountability is completely absent.
If this matter is not fully resolved by 13 May 2026, I will escalate this publicly across social media platforms. Clearly, this organisation only responds when reputational pressure is app****.
I have been patient for far too long. This level of service is unacceptable and embarrassing for a company of this size.

11 May 2026, 19:12 This is the first clear and substantive response I have received from Liquid Capital regarding this matter. Unfortunately, it took public escalation for this information to be shared.
At no point was I informed that the investigation had been concluded on 14 April 2026 or that a refund had been submitted for processing. Had this information been communicated to me timeously, there would have been no need for continued follow‑ups or escalation.
For context, the last correspondence I was copied on, dated 13 April, from Faranaaz Mahomed, stated the following:
“Kindly note that I did not engage with MIOSA telephonically today. However, we will engage with our Compliance Team and request that they provide feedback within 48 hours. Please be assured that we have been working on this matter internally in order to assist the customer and reach a resolution.”
No further feedback or update was provided to me thereafter.
Escalation occurred solely due to a lack of communication and transparency, not because of any attempt to misrepresent the status of the matter. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to be aware of internal actions or submissions made to MIOSA when no confirmation or feedback is shared directly with them.
