Faulty installation

Just a piece of advice, whatever you do, find an alternative ISP, don’t waste your money on Linteg, for the past 4 months or so I have been experiencing super slow speeds 4mbps (on a 20mbps line) and I have been complaining since, and I also discovered that the fibre lime installed in my driveway was installed not deeper than 10cm (recommended is 30cm upwards) so I email them to tell them this installation was faulty and I suspect that because the cable was laid so close to the surfaceit most probably was squished by the car or something, they then tell me that I was supposed to report it within 90 days, firstly why were we never advised of that?? I would like to request a document where I was informed of that and I signed, lastly why were installation protocols/recommendations not followed during the initial installation?? Over the past 4 months I have been basically paying for buffering, disconnections etc, they then have the neeve to request me to pay R1800 for a reinstallation on an installation that was messed up to begin with….don’t waste your momey on Linteg, find another ISP….

Good day Lehlohonolo

Thank you for reaching out. A consultant will be in contact with you with regards to the slow speeds you are experiencing.
The installations querty has been re escalated to the installations department and have included the maintenance department for an in depth investigation regarding the initial installation that was done.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused.
