Extended service outage 😕
Service outage for the past 4 days as of today. This is beyond bad service it's just unexplainable if you consider we working from home. If you charge us full amount we will take you to the ombuds.

21 Aug 2023, 13:06Good day Sibonelo, thank you for your post. Firstly let me apologize for the downtime that you have had in Clayville. However, was not the fault of your ISP , who is NewCo Fibre with whom your subscription agreement is currently with. Your services runs on the Linteg Fibre network which in turn has a backhaul providers network. Unfortunately , due to the backhaul provider having problems on the network it coursed the customers in Clayville, who are on the Linteg Network, to go down for a period of time. Linteg Fibre is not in control of this network and therefore could not do anything from our side to get the network up and running. We were also dependent on this third party provider to get their services back up so that our customers could have the services back up as quickly as possible. Sometimes this takes longer than we anticipated. We do understand your frustration in this regard, however there are times, like these, when we are not able to assist as quickly as we would like. You are signed up for a best effort service which means there will be times that due to circumstances beyond our control that the network will go down. The ISP is not obliged to reduce the subscription fees as they are not responsible for the downtime. Once again , we do apologize and understand that it is annoying when one is working from home.
I hope this clears things up for you.
Best regards
