Debt Collection Incompetency

I made an arrangement with them and paid successfully but my account was handed over to debt collections. After numerous calls, their consultants say I must ignore their debt collectors team but I keep getting threatening emails and calls. They are not professional when it comes to their assignments and the lady said it was a mistake. Now my credit it jeopardised and no one is saying anything.
