We bought two fly repellent fans that are battery operated and they are still going strong about 2 years later. The blades are light enough so that f you accidentally get your hand in the way, it will not hurt and the spinning stops. As soon as you take away the obstruction, the blades spin again. We use them at every family event we have at our house.The shipping was also quick and there were no issues on that end. All in all, highly recommend.
