WORST COMPANY IN EXISTENCE

I have held my tongue for too long. I purchased a couch in August 2022 and waited for months before I got anything from the company. I was 1st promised delivery will be before 15th December 2022 and that didn't happen. Then it was supposed to be before 31st January 2023 which also didn't happen. I had to chase everyone in that company with texts, emails, phone calls and even showroom visits. A delivery took place early February 2023 of something resembling a couch. I could not use this as it was so low you would swear it was manufactured for toddlers. Let me now forget the fact that what was delivered did not resemble what was ordered. They messed up the color, the size and the style. Even after this I had to chase after them to return their 'couch' and refund me my money. The couch was collected 31st March 2023 and I am still waiting for my refund. I have sent countless emails chasing the refund and have not heard anything. I do not understand how such a company could still be in business. What was even more disappointing was feeling alone as a consumer in South Africa when I approached National Consumer Commission and Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman where neither of them could assist me. This might probably why such businesses are still operational and bad service or lack of is still a thing.
