Horrific customer experience, poor quality products. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We purchased couches and sofas from the Atterbury branch on the 11 April 2023. We understand that it takes time to produce the furniture. However we never received any form communication regarding the progress of production nor when the furniture will be ready for collection or delivery. The Atterbury branch closed down (this is the branch we were supposed to collect our furniture from). We received no form of communication regarding the closure of the store. The contact number was deleted from their social media page. We tried contacting the Cape Town branch and our calls were not being answered. After attempting to get hold lifestyle home and lodging a complaint on hello peter someone eventually got hold of us. The date of delivery was changed. A few weeks later we were given a date and pick up location. We went to pick up our furniture at some dingy abandon office park in erasmia. The work done on couches was shoddy. You can tell it was made over a few days because we were relentless in our persuit to get what we paid. The inners of cushions dont have enough cushioning and feel hollow when you sit on them. They had glue stains and threads we had to cut off the threads. The did not have the colour of the sofas we requested 4 months ago. They gave us one colour option for the sofas which the made overnight asked us pick. What a bad investment. I don’t see these couches lasting long. We might have to buy new couches soon because the quality is substandard.
