Horrible experience!!!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience with this business. I ordered an L-shape couch on the 29th of July 2022. Their site said its order to make and would take about 55 days for the order to be ready and delivered. So that means I should have had the couch by late September or early October 2022. Did they not keep quiet after that time had come and gone. My friend and I spent the whole of October, November and December calling their SEVERAL different phone numbers and they weren’t saying anything coherent. Mid January 2023 we drove to one of their stores in Pretoria and we decided we would take whatever is in that store and seems to be the equivalent to the amount I paid for for the couch. They called each other across branches and head offices asking us not to be hasty, that their warehouse had burnt down. We had even opted to get the consumer ombudsman and lawyers involved. It was only then that they were able to provide feedback and new timelines for when they’d make and deliver the couch. Got the couch late Jan and the quality was great but you could feel that the work was rushed, it was dirty and just became hollow when you sat on the thing for more than 2 minutes no matter your size. I wouldn’t recommend this business.
