Xray Dept

I was contacted by the xray department from Glynnwood Hospital today. The lady informed me that I have an outstanding account with them. According to her, I needed to get authorization from Discovery before xrays had to be done, I then told her that my son was visiting his father and was unaware. In the next breath she rudely asked me when I will be making payment. I told her that I was only made aware of this now when she contacted me. I cannot believe the audacity she had and also being so rude working in a hospital with people!! I contacted Discovery and they told me the reason they did not pay is because the xray department did not advise them or stipulated that my son was eventually admitted or even in casualty. The xray department submitted a claim showing my child was an outpatient which is ridiculous! They do not even know what the hell they are doing, how can they even be working in the medical field??? I then contacted the lady back and advised her on the outcome of the discussion with Discovery and she again refused to adjust the invoice in order to receive payment. Well then why bother me if you don't need the money???
