Wrong diagnoses

I was rushed to hospital on the 26th at 6pm to the truma unit complaining of severe abdominal pains. I was asked to pay a cash amount of R1200 as my medical aid was not covering for trauma. The bill was payed upfront before any treatment or consult was done. I then had my bloods taken and once that was done i was put on a drip and pain medication was given to me. Even with the state that i was currently in i was asked to wait in the waiting area while my blood re****s come through, which was 2hours. I was then taken back to the room where i was told by the doctor that all my results were clear and advised me that i had stomach ulcers. He then gave me a prescription to get medication and although i was in alot of pain i was sent home.

The next day i got up still in pain (27-09-2017) i decided to go to my family doctor. Taking all the results which was given to me at the hospital my doctor took the first glance of it and advised me that my apendix was infected seeing the blood results that was given, he then booked me a bed at the hospital and even got authorization from the medical aid for my apendix to be removed.

I was seen at 5pm on the 27th and was told i would be going into theater the next morning the 28th. The operation was done and was a success.

However i demand a full refund for the 26th of which was paid in cash, i was dignosed incorrectly and was sent back home in pain should the doctor have done his job properly i would have been admitted the same night and would have been sorted out the next day, if the worse would have happened to me after being sent home was the hospital and doctor going to take responsibility for their negligence?

When i demanded a refund when i got admitted on the 27th i was told by admin that they will not refund me as it is another day, my point is should the doctor have diagnosed me correctly there would have been no need to pay a cash amount upfront and no need to have gone to the doctor and billed my medical aid just because the doctor at the hospital could not do his job properly.

I want a full refund back for the 26-09-2017 if i do not get a response to this i will take this up further.
