Worst Hospital Service in South Africa

Daughter in maternity ward, while baby son is in ICU. While this is suppose to be a joyful experience having a baby, the staff of Roseacres is busy turning it into the 2nd most horrible experience of our lifes. (2nd because her first baby died while born a year ago also in Roseacres and we received the same treatment from the maternity ward staff) <br> They refused that I saw my daughter straight after the birth, just to see if she is ok. All my daugter wanted was for her Mommy to be with her because of her last experience. Also was I told that I am not allowed to visit the same evening because they will just allow the father of the baby in with her. They are not together anymore and therefor my daughter wanted me to visit her. The way both of us are treated, together with the other visitors coming to well wish her, is the most terrible way I have ever experienced. Only 4 patients in maternity ward, cramped all 4 in 2 rooms. All other rooms empty. No aircons were working and after begging that they cool the rooms down, they called a handyman. No place for anyone to even sit next to their beds, have to stand infront of the bed.
