Worst hospital in the history of hospitals.

My wife was booked at Eugene Marais Hospital for delivering our baby. On the day we went for her induction we were sent home because our COVID tests were net yet received which I understand but we were told that we will be waiting in a separate ward to wait for our results but it was not the case. They then took her in the next evening and told us the induction will be done by 22h00 but again when we got there we were told that no we should wait until 00h00 to get the induction. We were stuffed in the labor ward which looked more like a supply closet until the next morning around 08h00. While waiting for the induction we kept on asking for my wife's breakfast which they kept on telling us that it will come which it never did so I bought her food for the morning. We were never informed on any news or progress of what is happening. After the entire procedure, we were supposed to register our baby with the documents provided by the Hospital which also never happened and now we are struggling with our medical aid because the maternity staff can't do their job. Whilst still in the hospital we were supposed to be shown how to bathe the baby and handle her which was totally unsuccessful for the nurse was to busy chatting to another lady and never showed us what to do. After all that my wife was told to take a shower but then a few minutes busy she was rudely told to not shower so long but they never told her how the showering process works after a C Section. The one nurse was really treating my wife roughly and was constantly rude. On check out, the Physio was supposed to come to check on my wife but she never did and when we phoned afterwards to find out about everything that we never received they could not even find my wife on the system. I am utterly disappointed and in a way refuse to pay for services we NEVER received. I will not recommend this horrible place to anyone.
