Wilgers Hospital nightmare

My son is currently admitted at Wilgers Hospital in Pretoria East. He had a brain tumor removed on Monday the 26th June 2023. Dr JM Steyn is a fantastic neuro surgeon, the ICU staff were phenomenal but unfortunately I can't say the same for the oncology ward. Last night my son called me in extreme pain he was enduring a low pressure headache, the staff were rude (Sr. Miller), slow, unhelpful and unavailable. I tried calling the hospital 7 times and no-one answered the phone, therfore I was forced to drive to the hospital at 22.00pm to attend to my son. Obviously I was in a panic but had someone answered the phone and assured me they were attending to him, things would have turned out differently. Sr Miller then called the night Matron to handle me, out of respect for the room and the other patients I left the ward. I should have left in confidence that my son would be well looked after but I did not. In conclusion we pay a lot to be at this private hospital but we end up being treated like state patients. If I could I would move my son from this hospital, but his doctor is outstanding....
