Wilgeheuwel Life Day Clinic - Refund Debacle

<p>5th Feb 2016 - I was admitted in the Day Clinic to have my wisdom teeth removed. I'm on Bankmed and was told to pay R5,383.37k upfront as a co-payment before I could be admitted. This was an estimation based on how much time the doctor anticipated spending in theatre. The Admission Clerk told me that I would need to contact the hospital after the operation to find out if there is a refund due to me. This I found to be strange because when you owe the hospital money, they are always quick to advise on money due to them.</p> <p> </p> <p>14 April 2016 – I made contact with the finance department and was told that there is a refund of R3,723.66 to me and was given the refund form to complete.</p> <p> </p> <p>28 April 2016 – I sent the completed refund form as well as the supporting documents that were required.</p> <p> </p> <p>6th June 2016 – I still have not received my refund, I have been following up with the lady responsible for refunds i.e. Mariam Motloung and everytime I speak to her she has an excuse to give me. I don’t know how many times she has promised that I would receive my money on a certain day and has failed to deliver even now.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please help?</p> <p> </p>
