Very Bad Triage

Thursday 7 September 2017, I took my wife to the ER of this hospital, we arrived at 15.53. My wife experienced at lot of pain in her abdominal area. We had a referral letter from her Doctor, and all the medication she is using was listed on the said letter. After about a half an hour she was called into a little room called Triage, and a medical person took her blood pressure, ask her a couple of questions around her pain, and ask her to give her the names of the medication she is using. She the was send out back to the reception. At reception they demanded a R300 payment. This R300 will be paid back if she is admitted to the hospital. In the mean time my wife were crying from pain, but no attention was given to her, no Doctor no nothing. At 18.57, almost 3 hrs later, they took her into the ER and then she was admitted to the hospital. The very next day I was told that they will only pay the R300 back in about 3/4 weeks, if I fill in a document, with copies of ID and bank statement. This is a ER? Fast Medical Service???
