Unprofessional and Disrespectful Treatment by Nurse at Life Healthcare Empangeni

I visited Life Healthcare Empangeni on Sunday 12/10/25 following a dog bite. On Monday, my wound was healing well and not swollen. However, after the dressing on Tuesday, the wound became swollen, and I grew concerned that it might be infected.

When I tried to explain my concern to Sister Nancy, she was rude and dismissive. She did not listen to me, spoke to me disrespectfully, and even discussed my personal health information loudly in front of other patients. This was humiliating and unprofessional.

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of care and empathy I received, especially given the seriousness of my condition. I am asking Life Healthcare to please investigate this matter and ensure that patients are treated with respect, dignity, and privacy.
