Unacceptable treatment of elederly patient

My 92 year old mother was hospitalized in above mentioned institution. On the night of the incident, three nurses arrived at her ward and pushed her bed into another small room, with a bright light directly above her head. She asked them why they had moved her there, but they ignored her, they laughed and walked away while talking to each other in their native language. They left her there, with the light shining in her eyes. For the next hour, she kept calling for someone to please come and attend to her. Eventually, at 0h30 one of the other nurses came to the room and put the light on dim but did not offer any explanation about why she had been moved to the room. <br> I reported the matter the next evening to Sister Ryan. She agreed that this was unacceptable, and 'they will look into it'. I requested that disciplinary action be taken against the staff, and that I get given feedback on the outcome. Since then I had nothing but promises and lame excuses from Wilgeheuwel. <br> I would advise anyone against sending their elderly parents to Wilgeheuwel - the nursing staff seem to discriminate against elderly white patients and the management seem too weak to deal with the matter properly
