Traumatic experience at the Life Faerie Glen hospital

On 1.10.2024 my wife was admitted to the Life Faerie Glen hospital for an operation. At reception I was told that I can accompany her to the ward and the I must go and wait at reception until the ward phones me that she is back in the ward. She was admitted at 10H00 and she was the only person in the private ward, I went to reception to wait for the call to visit my wife. She was alone in the ward until 13H20 when she was taken to theatre. At 15H15 the ward phoned me and said I can go to her room to see her. It was a very traumatic experience being apart before the operation and we both know there are many things that can go wrong in the theatre. I can not understand that I was not allowed to be with my wife until she went to theatre. I emailed my complaint to both email addresses I found at the hospital but up to 4.10.2024 nobody rep****
