Thumbs down to Eugene Marais

My doctor referred me to Life Eugene Marais hospital for xrays. I went to the hospital xray reception and was assisted by the only white male there. He took the form I completed and demanded my medical aid card. I gave them the two and was ordered to sit down and will be helped. People came, sat down and were assisted while I was warming up their chairs. The only thing I was doing was give space to patients and or elders. Time passed and an hour passed. People came after me and left me still warming their chairs. After almost two hours I could not sit there anymore. I spoke to the receptionist and demanded my card back. After some lengthy search I was given my card while still waiting for service. I left after realising that I was not going to be helped. I am writing this review hoping that the management will train their staff. This is not the first time this happened to me. I went to this hospital first because my doctor referred me and second it is closer to my home. Service in this hospital needs a major overhaul. I am a paying client and deserve some respect. If you want to go to Eugene Marais hospital you better pack breakfast, lunch and supper. Pack some patience as well. I do not wish to see myself at this hospital again unless I end up here without my control.
