The most disorganized creditors and billing in the SA

Life Health probably has the worst accounts department in the country.

My mom was admitted into the Life Hospital in Queenstown (on the 20 March 2023), their billing system was down for over 3 weeks, we paid cash for this admission, After a month a finally get the bill, which was below what we paid, I have been in contact with the accounts department for months now and they cannot complete a simple task of allocating a payment to the correct account, instead I continually get sms notification that the account is in areas, my question is how will pay the interest on this account?

How can a hospital be this disorganized?
