Suikerbosrand Clinic

I had an accident and broke my arm. I went to the doctor and i was told that i will need surgery. I do not have a medical aid and I asked what this will cost. I was referred to a specialist and I asked what this will cost as i do not have a medical aid. I wanted to see if i will be able to afford it as i was retrenched and was not working for months. I just started to work on a project and i will lose this job if i cant do this. I got quotes from all relevant people. All the quotes stayed as quoted, except Suikerbosrand clinic. They quoted just short of R49000. I had to pay this before i was admitted. I paid as quoted and the surgery was done. About a week after my operation - i had a call from suikerbos clinic and they informed me that i have an outstanding amount of R51000. My girlfriend went to see how this is possible as we asked for a quote to see if i can afford and now there is still outstanding. They then changed the amount to R3500 outstanding. I still can not understand this as i was quoted and it nowhere stated that it was an estimate. Two weeks later 14/10/2020 they called me to tell me that i have an outstanding amount of R38530.16. These people knew exactly what the procedure was that will be performed - as the other parties. Still they want more money out of people... Again my girlfriend went to suikerbosrand clinic and they are standing by this amount. How is this possible that you get a quote and then they still have an open cheque book. If i take my car for a quote.....that is what i am paying......
