Shoddy admin - St Georges Hospital

The admin of St George's Hospital is beyond shocking. I was admitted in Jan 2020 for medical procedure that cost R74K, medical aid and gap settled R72K, the shortfall was due to an item not recognized by Medical aid or Google for that reason? In March 2020 I asked for an explanation of this item so that I could resubmit. No response. Yes I know the world went into lockdown due to Covid. 3 years later I now get a demand for the amount in question. In the 3yrs I was retrenched, no medical aid. I sent proof of all of this back and forth, then to be handed over to Blake attorneys, back and forth. I have requested that summons be issued so that I can take this matter up legally. Sadly if the admin work was done properly in the beginning we would not have this issue. I specifically had a GAP policy to cover any shortages, but GAP only pays for recognized items. The item that was not paid is known as a Somasensor- google it, word does not exist in that context.
