Sad state of affairs in hospital

Checked in 5 days ago for an emergency gallbladder infection. I would not like to paint all staff with the same prush. I have had 50% of the staff go over and above their duties. I I respect them for what they have done for me. But yes there us always a but..... But as a private patient I do feel we getting the short end of the stick. Clearly I'm getting better as I am writing this sa. Today te 26 of June will be the second day that have to request my pain meds. Yet still waiting. Yes yesterday I asked to wait with my pain meds as wanted to see how I would cope if I go home. After some time realized I can't, I requested my meds at around 2 pm. Only got it way after that. It got so bad the nurse/ duster ( whitelsdy) could not even do a drip.. Thank God for my male nurse that was not even working my side of the ward. If I had to be honest there are about 2. staff on each shif that carry the rest. Would also like to ad it seems the night staff are by far more trained. I I'll put my trust in them. Can't say the same for the day staff. And to think they charge you just being in bed and know one give a sh*'t Will I come back. Can't say. Hope never. It's sad that the good will feel the impact of an under trained hospital. Let's see how long and how many times I need to ask for my meds today. They should pay me to come put some fire under the week links. Luke Froon
