Roseacres should be a public hospital

Please be very careful when you attend this hospital. My husband broke his wrist and I was told to pay cash upfront for his stay as well as his surgery. He spent a full day in hospital and not one person could tell me when the doctor would operate, husband was in such pain we eventually called the doctor directly to ask what’s taking so long only to be told he wasn’t notified of the patient or the surgery. Not one person apologized for the negligence of the staff. I picked him up after surgery and I asked there and then whether there was any money outstanding and told by 2 nurses that I don’t owe anything and that the file is closed. 3 months later I received a notification to pay for miscellaneous items, I have sent two responses querying where this sudden billing came from as well as an investigation into the negligence of the staff but no one responds they just keep changing the date and sending me a statement. Please be very careful if you not fortunate enough to have medical aid!!!!
