Refuse to refund double payment

Early in September, my husband Vic Sited thewound sister at the Life Hospital, Vredenberg. We were told that the referring specialist had not written the necessary motivation and theywere not certain Medical Aid would accept responsibility. WE thus paid theR498.21 and submitted the receipt for reimbur*****t.

The medical aid payment was sent to the hospital instead of us. On 4 October Hospital staff informed us that I needed to fill in a form and supply paperwork.... and ourmoney would be returned to us.

Almost 2 months and countless questions and phone calls, head office admin refuse to return our moñey. How can it be legal to REFUSE TO RETURN a double payment? The excuse is that medical aid might default..... our cash is being he Of just in c axe..... it will take at least 2 wèeks after our LAST visit for the instruction for reimbur*****t to be set in motion.

How is it legally possible to hold money hostage that does not belong to you??
