POPI ACT BREACH & HOSTILE TREATMENT BY LIFE C****NHOF STAFF

Maria Nyathi who works at Ampath Carstenhof called someone who was not listed on the contact details and put my relatives life on risk. Her reason for doing so is because she says the contact details are from 2019. Therefore Ampath Carstenhof doesn’t adhere to the POPI Act. Maria Nyathi disclosed a patient’s medical history and also her whereabouts as the client is still admitted. Maria was rude throughout and I recorded her rudeness and informed her I am recording. Furthermore her *** colleague Thato came to harass me and said he will report me to security for being outside and on a video call cause the same Maria feels unsafe when she sees me. This Thato (He/She/It) even had the audacity to say I take things personal as Maria broke the POPI act and threatened my safety, but he had the audacity to threaten calling security to remove me from the hospital to visit a patient I’m responsible for the bill. I requested the hospital to transfer my patient but the doctor advised otherwise due to how fragile the patient is. The hospital couldn’t even guarantee that they will monitor the visitors, I was in a meeting with the hospital manager Thabo Mosheledi & Merriam ( not sure if it’s the unit manager within HCU or what)when I was getting this issue resolved but none of them cared. So according to this Thato(IT/she/HE) I must not visit my patience and I must run away from the illiterate Maria Nyathi who is evidently *********** in her job. Maria Nyathi and this confused Thato must watch their back if this issue doesn’t get resolved. I can’t be spending thousands only to be ill-treated by a confused *** thing and illiterate stupid old Maria.
