Poor Service from Credit Control

<p>I was admitted to Life Wilgeheuwel Day Clinic on 21 Dec 2016 as I was referred to a doctor that works from there. Sisonke Health Medical Scheme my medical aid gave authorisation to cover 80% of the account. My co-payment was 20%. On the morning of admission Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital (Day Clinic) insisted on a R1744.87 co-payment upfront, but they assured me I would be refunded should the account be less. The total account amounted to R3061. 77. I therefore paid more than 50% co-payment. I contacted their credit control early Jan 2017and was advised that Marriam Motleung is dealing with this account. I discussed the matter with her and fowarded the email from my Medical Aid indicating that there will be 2 payments. 2nd payment was scheduled for 19 Jan 2017 and that a refund of R1283.50 is due to me. I duly completed the refund request form and returned it to her including a copy of ID and bank statement with proof of the bank account dated 13 January 2017. On 20 Jan 2017 I received a refund of R463.60. I again contacted her and again emailed her to confirm that the previous day (19th) the 2nd payment was made by my medical aid (which I previously advised her of). I sent her several emails during the course of Jan 2017 and never received one response. I emailed her the statement and proof of payment from my medical aid as well. I have been phoning on a weekly basis to follow up on the additional refund of R819.90 due to me. Each time her response is ..."within the next day or two". That was last week Monday. Since then nothing has transpired, not even an email that I am now going to take further action prompted any response from her. How is it possible that it could take several weeks for a refund to be processed, yet I had to make the co-payment immediately!!!! (My husband is the sole breadwinner and I was admitted again at a Netcare hospital (our preferred service provider) during January 2017. I am really thoroughly digusted with the service from Life Health Care Group Credit Control!!!</p>
