Poor medical service from life wilgeheuwel hospital.

If I could give life wilgeheuwel a -10 I would they dont even deserve 1 star. Shocking, shocking treatment. I was in ICU and the nurses were making fun of an elderly gentleman next to me. I was washed like a rag doll the sister abruptly took the face cloth and rubbed it into my face with their disinfectant. All the nuses gang up against any patient that speaks up. The Dr's dont even care about your complaints yes eventually you do sound like a broken record. They just laugh it off and defend the nurses my physician actually told me I should complain less and the nurse that was in the room was cheering him on he then discharged me from his side with a shocking attitude.

There was one nurse in ICU that wanted me as her patient and told me that when she asked to nurse me all the other sisters made fun of her and told her she is choosing my side and why would she do that. That same sister said i wad telling the truth and what I said was true.

I did not choose this hospital I was admitted as an emergency I had to go back to the same Dr for the completion of operation. I got discharged today they took so long to remove my drip so I did it myself.

I got out of there ASAP I will never ever use any life hospital again. There are two Dr's that look after you and each one gives instructions..when the patient mentions this the nurse starts shouting at you and that they have other patients as well they switch off your bell turn around and walk away.

2 hours wait for a dressing to be changed.

1-2 hours for the nurse to come and assist you. They prefer to give patients bed pans than help them to walk to the toilet.

This hospital is the worst experience I have ever had.

Terrible attitudes from some Dr's I was vomiting continously last night and my physician said he discharged me and that there nothing he could do for me my surgeon refused to come out to see me.

However I want to say thank you to Dr Ballantine your years of experience,kindness and understanding for patients, my physician and surgeon said that Dr Ballantine was not allowed to see me but Dr Ballantine knows that the oath he took when he qualified as a Dr.

The point is it doesn't matter who you complain too they sweep it under the mat...they defend their staff and tell me they are the best staff and no one has ever complained about them.

Strange every patient that was with me in the room complained bitterly we were shouted at by the nurses and treated as if they were doing us a favor because we needed them.

Nurses we pay you, there wouldn't be a life wilgeheuwel if there were no patients paying you millions and millions of rands.

The customer must be treated with respect and dignity the nurses attitudes are appalling and the sisters think the nurses are fantastic.

Well wake up your services are shocking there is no sympathy or care from life wilgeheuwel.

I thought I was going to die there.

Don't even bother calling mr with the same excuses I have heard from you since June nothing improved your standards are still as low as what they were in June.
