Poor experience with Hilton Life hospital casualty doctor.

Dr Alta van der Walt insinuating that I was faking my pain and abused opiods was one thing.

To have her make condescending remarks on my being a traditional healer was what offended me the most. She insisted I was sick because of mixing traditional and western medication, despite my telling her that I had not ingested any herbal medication. She also made hurtful remarks about how I couldn't possibly be a good healer because the "stuff" I gave my own patients wasn't working for me. Firstly, I do not specialise in herbal medicine, therefore do not give my clients 'stuff'. Secondly, it is shocking that a highly educated doctor could not consider that traditional doctors can also have different areas of specialization. She further asked that I quit and focus on my day job.

All of this, while I was writhing in pain and crying.

Poor bedside manner, ******** and rude to patients.
