Payment *********ing policy??

My wife had an operation a short while ago at the Roodepoort Flora Clinic - Life Healthcare, with the prognosis of a possible hysterectomy. The operation was logically billed to the medical aid without a problem.<br> Being booked on soon for surgery, suddenly Dr. VDW snotty attitude secretary demands full payment (R10.000) for surgery while the medical aid has approved for payment.<br> A very much under the belt *********ing policy with two measures and two weights (the one time you don't pay upfront, the other time you have too??). As much we are shocked by this *********ing policy, as much is the medical aid shocked about this kind of practice. Why have medical for? Medical insurances should stand their ground and simply not work with these kind of organisations!<br> For that reason I will never again use any 'services' from Life and rather use a competitor rather than having a nasty surprise.
