Pathetic service and ****************

Never go to Life Healthcare if you have an emergency.

Yesterday I cut my finger very deep and it went completely numb. There was fat hanging out, so clearly it was quite serious. We went to emergencies and ended up waiting almost three hours, only to have them simply clean the wound and put a plaster on. This after the nurse that looked at it after waiting 2 hours said she will fast track me so I am next. They helped people that came after us before me, all while I sat there with my finger in my mouth to control the bleeding, as they didn't even offer me tissues or anything.

Then I had to pay R240 just for that! Plus they sent a bill for an additional R675 to my medical aid. Only god knows what the hell for. They did absolutely nothing about the numbness and my finger is still numb (this happened at 3:30pm yesterday).

What an absolute joke. If I knew they were going to just stick a plaster on it I would have cleaned the wound myself.
