Pathetic ER doctor

When we arrived at Springs Parkland ER, the person who opened the file and the sister who had my son's fever etc. have been very friendly and helpful. Then we were taken to a room and waited for the doctor to come. Upon her arrival, I explained to her that my son had a fever that ranged from 38 to 40 degrees all day, he was very tired and sleepy, that his stomach went runny and slimy just before we came to the hospital and also that he vomited in the car on the way to the hospital. When she started examining him she just felt on his stomach and said she was going to send him for x-rays and then blood tests to see if he had enough fluids in his body and a blood test for his infection count. He also had a bad cough and the doctor did not even examine his throat, ears or chest. After that, the blood tests were done and we went for x-rays. Coming back from the x-rays and waiting for a while, the doctor told us his stomach was clogged (he was constipated). She didn't show us or explain what was going on in the x-ray, she just said I could come and see the x-rays if I wanted to. She asked the sister to do an enema. After waiting for a while again, the sister told us that she couldn't get an enema in the hospital (which is absolutely pathetic to me that a hospital does not have a single enema), she will give him a suppository. After that the suppository did the work, I went to call the sister. She said she will call the doctor. When the doctor arrived she was so asleep (it seemed like someone was under the influence) she told me with her eyes that she prescribed him antibiotics with fever medicine and while she talked to me she fell backwards twice against the door so that the door slammed against the wall. Then she turned and walked out of the room I called her back I asked her what was really all wrong (whether it was just his stomach making him so sick) with the child and what the results of the blood tests were. She just rep**** "it's only the lots of ****s in his stomach that make him so sick". To this day, I do not know what the results of the blood tests were. I just feel what my medical aid pays for something I don't get results from. After we got home, my boy's stomach was flushing like diarrhea.
