Pathetic Disturbing and Shocking Treatment
Deeply disappointed in the manner my i was treated. I had a Cereberal infarction of the Pontine. The tratement by some doctors are pathetic. I can name just two Doctors who provided good care : 1. DR A. White and; 2. Dr Hoosain Khalfey 3. Dr Paul Crossland Most nursing staff treated us professionally with the necessary empathy, like Sisters Romeghan, Lavona Nosi,Victoria and others too many to mention. I had two long stays on this hospital this year (May and June) and September to November). In the past it was the gold standard for other hospitals to follow. The facilities is not properly maintained such as showers not working, name plates are off a or are skew, the menu is a nightmare. No proper diabetic menu. I ordered a chicken burger which was supposed to be a piece of breast but turned out to be a processed chicken burger. The same when ordering a grilled steak then you get beef ribs. Some of the staff do get your menu right but mostly it's all wrong. The floors, wall and curtains are filthy. Plates and cups lie for hours. Shows unhygienic standards. Doesn't live up to your quality standard Life Management. More concerned about cost cutting containment measures than living up to your motto and standards you set. The hospital surgical ward is like a production line doctors and patients in and out of theatre. " Life Hospital" only cares about is show us the money so we can drain your medical aid. I have spent all my daily benefits as your case managers dont keep the medical aid up to date with correct ICD codes or send motivation and dont follow proper standard procedures that each medical has in place with the hospital. Life Hospital is our number 1 preferred hospital so your staff should by now know how it operates, what is needed etc. What happens your put us under stress to phone and try to settle your accounts. It's not for us to do so. I was supposed to be recuperating and not stressing incorrect ICD codes were given and no motivation given the type of condition I had. Please tell me what's the difference with a "minor" or a stroke. There are bound to be side effects. Your doctors who have their practices at your hospital cannot diagnose complex cases but quick to say go and see a psychiatrist. I think that your overworked and money infatuation doctors must check in and see a psychiatrist and tell us if it's good to be doped with narcotics that you are like a zombie. Your dopamine and serotonin levels make you more depressed. Your endorphins are subdued. Doctors treat us like we are imbeciles when some of us are also highly qualified and even more qualified than some of these doctors. I have a lot of the side effects but the specialist doesn't care and you are stressed/ anxious. Reports reflect certain things and patients have the right to know and make decisions on their help. I requested another MRI Scan with Contrast. No you fine. Its stress. I laid in the ward for almost a whole day and they arranged for the ER doctor to see me. Is he a Physician or Neurologist to determine it's in my mind. I know my body. Whilst I laid there I had other concerns and complications but my voice was silent. I checked myself out and on my way the specialist sees me for about 15 minutes but states he saw me for more than 45 minutes. I do I get better. I now will have to start this process anew next year at another hospital while you as Life Hospital took all my funds and I'm not better. Pathetic service.
Doctors dont treat you right as a patient. "Life Healthcare has a first-class team of passionate physicians from which to choose and each one is committed to caring for your health and wellbeing".Life is Dignity". That's a joke like they give a damn of your vision mission or living to fulfill the Hippocratic Oath they take or treating the patient with the care or with honour and dignity. The Life
Just a statement put up but not realistic fulfilling the standard of service delivery They dont peruse the the****** notes but make judgement calls. In the past month that I've been there their is always staff shortages."
"Here are some service tips free(pro bono): While there are many things that can affect the experience (e.g. products, prices, environment, etc.) customer service is always going to be one of the top factors that impact how patients will perceive your Life Hospital brand. And here’s the good news: when it comes to customer service, you’re in the driver’s seat. You may not be able to influence the weather or control your competitors, but the level of service you provide is completely within your control. That’s why you should always be cooking up ways to improve on what is that uniqueness that Life Hospital has. Now, I understand that this advice can be vague. (What exactly do I mean by improving the customer service?). So, to help your concertize the concept, I’ve put together a real-life example and one action steps for taking your customer service to the next level. Good customer service means meeting your customers’ needs in a timely, efficient, and pleasant way. Customer service can mean many things, depending on the environment. In the medical field/ hospital , it could entail directing patients to the right part of the ward or or assisting them with a specialist in the field." I am deeply disappointed in the failure of the nursing staff at Vincent Pallotti to act in a professional manner, perform their duty with dignity and honour" Visit Melomed Tokai and you can learn. I shall personally never recommend Vincent Palotti Hospital to anyone and will share my negative experience with anyone planning to use the hospital in the future. I did not fill in your survey when I was moved to one of the worse rehabilitation centre stepdown centre Robin Trust. Please dont send your young patients there. If they over 75 then do do so.
"Our mission
We improve the lives of people by means of the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care. We are always striving to do our best, and a good sign of our performance is our patient satisfaction, and our care is infused with layers of compassion, enabling us to grow. Our values form the cornerstone of how we behave – they are the essence of our culture and the unifying beliefs that connect us." This is untrue. We are just a number to make money of us. Poor quality of service. Doctors doing their rounds only spend little than two minutes and are going. I've not come back as I have sought medical attention elsewhere as my left leg with all the prodding is now triple its size and I dont have faith in the doctors who were treating me.
