Parkland hospital, have you hired qualified staff?

My grandmother was admitted a week ago when she had pain in her left hip where she had a hip replacement. She was referred to a specialist at this hospital. She was immediately admitted, Dr had no reason as to why she had to be admitted, hardly alluding to the severity or my grandmother's pain. With promises of operations, they flew by and nothing happened. Each day he would promise the next day to be the day for theater but zero. She went for xray and scans under 'nuclear medicine's then they charged up to R7000 for those scans. So the Dr, after saying she has a dislocation mentioned that the disk in which the prosthetic was connected (to pelvis) had corroded.

I've been going to check on my gran for her stay and all she has in her drip is nothing, just trying to keep the veins open for whenever this 'surgery's is meant to happen.

Days are going by and Dr makes promises and nothing is happening. This Dr and his team have been avoiding my gran and the family. I'm tired of having my gran stay in that hospital with no results, its winter now and she may take time to heal and subsequently be discharged.

To add to the family's confusion, there have been d ed uble claims from different doctors who have NEVER even treated her.

My question is Dr whoever you are, what is the delay since you have all the equipment and staff, why make promises when there is ZERO intention to follow through? And why do you not explain fully to this old lady's family!?? She believes in you so much but doesnt know or am I supposed to scrutinize the bureaucracy.
