only getting a bill after a few years

went for a small kidney stone removal in 2018 and receive a bill now threatening to hand me over to Richard &Associates and now i must pay R5160.00 ,Why did no one call me or email me a statement ,the Service i received from Wilgeheuwel hospital was *** from day one and will never go back to them . up until today no one sent me a bill or called me ,but what is funny they have my number to sent me **** massages that they handing me over .
