Not consistant

I was admitted 23/08/17 for shingles.Everyday i had a drip on day and night.Friday 25/08/17 at 01h22 I woke up for the toilet.The drip was dry and the J loop had blood in.I asked the staff if they going to change the drip they said no in the mornging?I taught i was suppose to have drip on 24/7???Confused plus J loop had blood in.
