The problems started when my medical aid did not pay the bills. I got strings of messages with legal threats should I fail to pay. I made inquiries with my medical aid they told me I did not sleep over that means I am out patient and the option in covered on will not pay. I put up a fight with them because I not just an ordinary member. I have given my medical aid ton of business. At the end they send me a form called application for outof hospital treatment of a prescribed minimum benefit condition 2022. To be completed by myself and the hospital. A pretty straightforward form. I completed it on the 19 October 2022 and send to one personnel who was querying riology payment of R4,143.81. The Wilgers hospital did not completed their part/section few days down the line i received messages with demands for payment or I will find myself with legal problems in my hand. I had to cancel some of my investments policy and savings to avoid legal actions against me. When I made payment. I wrote a review about my medical aid. They immediately contacted me. Guess Wilgers hospital did not completed their section and send to my medical aid. Again in few days I received another bill called hospital bill for R1,225.49 with legal threats. I paid half and made a follow-up with my medical. Same story Wilgers hospital did not completed their section. I humbled myself to find out why is the hospital not complying or at least co-orporate. Poor lady tried. Now I am told the case manager for hospital is on leave until next year. What is Wilgers hospital hiding that must not be seen by my medical aid? If they are failing to do what will take them less than 5 min. Is these how they tread their black customers? Are they going around threatening their vulnerable poor customers with legal options while they are failing to comply? Are they part and parcel of the big componies who are make it possible for unequal socity South Africa is in since they have financial muscles? Do they really play their part to shapes South Africa to be the better country we all want. Or they are part an parcel of keeping the poor poorest and rich richest. The evidence speaks for itself I will remain poor since my saving are butchered together with my investments policies while I continues contribute on monthly basis to my medical aid compony and I still need to pay to avoid legal actions by Wilgers hospital.
