Negligent staff at private hospital

<p>I had the most unsatisfactory experience at Eugene Marais Hispital pediatric ward. Some of the nurses were rude and unhelpful. It made a very traumatic experience even worse. My 1yr old son almost died and it took the hospital 18 hours to start with the necessary tests. And meanwhile I had no idea what was going on. I had to call a nurse on a number of occasions to come and assist me with the drip or for fever and pain meds. When administering his drip they left him to cry himself out ****il he passed out and turned blue). I find the fact that they let that happen unacceptable. They also left his drip not running for a couple of hours causing it to block. The opening of the line is very painful and could have been avoided.</p> <p> </p>
